We surveyed members in our Facebook group, Traveling Contract Jobs: Industrial, to see which companies they worked with over the past year to find out which agencies were the most popular in 2021.
With 10,000+ Facebook members, we had 421 participate in the poll which asked them to identify all agencies that they worked with over the past year. It’s no surprise who made the top 5 list, as they are the companies that have been around the longest providing top-level service to Fortune 500 companies nationwide for 30 years.
1.) AFIMAC
Based out of Ohio, AFIMAC provides security, strike staffing, and temporary staffing to public and private sector organizations worldwide.
What to know: With the latest projects to kick off simultaneously, based upon feedback from our group members, it appears that AFIMAC overcommitted its strike services and is struggling to provide the top-level service its employees and customers are accustomed to. Job seekers and employees alike, have been extremely frustrated by being unable to speak with anyone by phone for any project problems they’re having or for feedback on their application status.

How To Find The Best Staffing Agency To Work For
While all the agencies above offer opportunities with traveling contract work throughout the U.S., the agencies do differ in terms of types of opportunities, industries, recruiter accessibility, project management, and employment contracts.
The top 5 players — AFIMAC, Strom, Huffmaster, MADICORP, and PMG — only provide travel staffing opportunities whereas some companies focused on warehouse staffing that didn’t make the top 10 such as Capstone Logistics and Merit Logistics offer traveling warehouse order selectors in addition to regular staffing that doesn’t require being away from home. You can find our full list of travel staffing agencies on our website here.
